Who doesn’t love a good cocktail (if you don’t, what’s wrong with you?). Be it a Bellini (my personal favourite), or if you’re in a brooding mood for a martini a la Bond to be shaken not stirred, it seems as if there is a cocktail for every occasion.
I am chuffed to bits to offer my readers a pair of tickets to the hottest aperitivo masterclass in town (either 25th or 30th August). I can’t think of a better way to spend a bank holiday weekend, can you?
It’ll be an informal, fun and informative session hosted by owner of new Italian Café Bar, Bassano Bar @ PizzaExpress, Dave Marsland on First Street, Manchester.
Lucky winners will be given a warm welcome and handed an Italian styled drink upon arrival. This will be followed by an exciting look into the Italian flavours, including fresh lemons, almonds, oranges, juniper and spices. I think this is a great way to learn more about different flavours.

With Italian food being one of my favourite cuisines, I know I will expand my knowledge on Italian food and drink flights, which will be especially useful when I’m menu-planning for a special event next month (more on that later).
