We’re only in the second week of December, and I think there is still a lot of festive cheer to spread throughout December. Whether you’re living in London or not, you can’t beat the party neighbourhood of Soho to kick start the festive season.

You don’t need a reason to hop along to one of London’s coolest spots. The hotly anticipated opening of Six Storeys on Soho will have a soft launch during December inviting Christmas revellers to eat, drink and be merry.

Head butler, Cornelius S. Lushington will take you on an enticing journey back to yesteryear, to an era of prohibition. Step over the threshold of the six storey townhouse on Soho Square and set about exploring each floor. The team of talented mixologists have been tirelessly researching and experimenting to create some of London’s most unique cocktails and each floor presents a new, delightful surprise.

Expect homemade 72 hour Fig or Apple Pie infused Martinis or perhaps a savoury, Venison and Summer Truffle Gin Cup. How about a Burnt Toffee Scotch Old Fashioned, a Rose and Cocoa infused Vodka or even a Peanut Butter flavoured Rum to tickle your tastebuds?

Six Storeys will open in a soft launch phase during December for those who simply cannot wait until January to get a sneak peak. The venue will then officially open from the 3rd January 2017.

From the 1st December 2016, guests will also be able to reserve a space at Six Storeys on Soho to host their own soirees, using the new bar concept, ‘By Appointment Only’, which will allow customers to reserve a private area of this unique six storey bar and restaurant from 2-30 guests, Thursday through Saturday.

Six Storeys will open for the early risers, right through to the night owls, serving food and drink throughout. Menus have been devised to fill, delight and intrigue guests, either through theatre, ingredient or technique. Fuel the morning with a signature ‘overnight infused oat jar with berries, apples and raisins’ whilst toasting English Muffins at the table. The day and evening menus combine comfort with a modern twist. I’m personally quite keen on the herb crusted chicken, although the braised beef cheek cottage pie and peanut butter cheesecake sounds equally delightful.

Whether its drinks with friends or going the whole ‘six storeys’, and taking the building exclusively for a party, this venue will cater to all. The vast variety of wines from the well-stocked cellar, impressive range of spirits and expertly crafted cocktails will undoubtedly make Six Storeys a firm favourite on the London social scene.
