EXPERIENCE PLANT-BASED CUISINE FROM AROUND THE WORLD AT NEW LONDON RESTAURANT COMPTOIR V

Set to open on 2nd December, new restaurant Comptoir V brings international vegetarian and vegan cuisine to the heart of west London.

Located in the vibrant Kensal Rise, a stone’s throw from Camberlayne Road, once named “the hippest street in Europe” by Vogue, Comptoir V is conveniently nestled opposite Kensal Rise station.

The eatery is being introduced by the owners of nearby Moroccan and Middle Eastern restaurant, Comptoir Mezze , which won the Time Out Award for the Best Restaurant in North-West London.

Comptoir V aims to make plant-based eating and drinking exciting for vegans and meat-eaters alike, in a beautiful yet relaxed environment.

With head chef Michael Ninvalle at the helm, guests can look forward to the same standard of excellent food offered at Comptoir Mezze, but solely focused on healthy, vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Ninvalle, a vegan himself, was the proud recipient of a National Award for his work in his home country of Trinidad and Tobago, and has most recently honed his cooking skills at top-rated restaurant, Love Gift Vegan London, so you can expect a exquisite and unique dining experience.

Ninvalle has taken inspiration from around the world with a particular nod to Middle Eastern flavours to design a vibrant and diverse menu of plant-powered delights including Shakshouka Tagine with Vegan Merguez, Vegan Jerk Burger, and Baked Vegan Parmesan and Harissa Cauliflower Steak, to nourish the body and engage the senses.

Accompanying the food will be a selection of biodynamic vegan wines, vegan beers such as Tiny Rebel and Beavertown, and cocktails rich in superfoods. An array of cold-press juices, antioxidant rich lattes and freshly ground organic coffee will be on offer alongside the alcoholic tipples.

The restaurant’s décor is inspired by the souks of Marrakech, meaning customers will be greeted by the intoxicating colours, sights and scents of the Moroccan medina. Expect Babouche slippers, ceramic tiles, twinkling lanterns and cosy cushions as well as a selection of Moroccan inspired dishes and drinks.

Comptoir V is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks from 8AM to 10PM Sunday to Thursday and 8AM to 11PM Friday and Saturday (12PM to 11PM from 2nd – 9th December).

Comptoir V opens on 2nd December 2017, to book or for more information call 0203 092 0047 or visit their Instagram now.
