It is exactly two weeks till (can I say the ‘E’ word yet?)… Easter!

What is Easter without a little (or in most cases) a lot of chocolate?! This Easter, Las Iguanas have combined two of my favourite things… chocolate AND cocktails for an indulgent match made in heaven.

Behold the Chocolate Batida, Las Iguanas’ answer to all of the nation’s chocolate cocktail dreams. This cocktail is made with a genius concoction of Las Iguanas very own Magnifica Cachaça, chocolate, condensed milk and is garnished with those delectable chocolatey treats… Mini Eggs!

Las Iguanas’ monthly ‘Hot List’ launched last week, which consists of a selection of limited edition 2-4-1 cocktails. This cool menu changes monthly so you can enjoy a selection of Latin American cocktails, all year round.

Back to the Chocolate Batida cocktail that sounds highly moreish. The lovely people at Las Iguanas gave me the recipe for one of their favourite cocktails. Guess what I’ll be making this weekend?

Before I present the recipe, I just wanted to mention that Las Iguanas have also launched a new seasonal menu.

As part of their new Kids’ Menu, Las Iguanas have once again joined forces with Aardman, the award winning British animation company with several Academy Awards under their belt. Children at Las Iguanas will have the chance to try some of the very best South American classics whilst also having the opportunity to name the new characters on the menu to join Iggy the Iguana!

Adults aren’t missing out either – with a whopping 13 new additions to the menu, there is definitely something to smile about. And now for that recipe. Enjoy!
