There is exciting news emerging from The Sri Lanka High Commission in London about a wonderful pop-up at The Dorchester Hotel. The London based luxury hotel is offering gourmet Sri Lankan cuisine until 30 May 2021, as introduced by Mario Perera, the Executive Chef of the hotel.

 

Mario has combined his passion for his Sri Lankan heritage with his 20+ years’ experience of culinary wizardry at The Dorchester to create this incredibly exciting sharing concept of vibrant, colourful and delicately spiced dishes from Sri Lanka.

The menu boasts a large variety of beautiful dishes for guests to share and explore. To complement this new menu and concept, The Dorchester has also created a brand-new list of signature cocktails. Developed to enhance the bold flavours and heady mix of spices that Sri Lankan cuisine is famous for, the cocktails on offer showcase tropical fruits, local Ceylon tea, Arrack (local coconut liquor), Colombo Gin and, of course, ginger and coconut flavours.

 

This event is supported by this Mission and the Sri Lankan Tourist Promotion Bureau, and takes place on The Dorchester’s panoramic rooftop offering scenes of Hyde Park and Central London.
