Sunday Brunch presenter Simon Rimmer is set to share his culinary genius with visitors to the UK’s biggest food and drink festival. The TV cook and restaurateur has been added to a star-studded line-up of chefs and music acts appearing at Foodies Festival.

The hugely popular Foodies Festival, which attracts more than 25,000 visitors to each of its three-day events, is heading to nine UK venues – Brighton, Bristol, London, Birmingham, Cambridge, Cheshire, Edinburgh and Oxford – for a feast of family fun between May and August.

Simon will demonstrate cooking skills that have made him a household name in the Hoover Theatre showcasing the company’s Vogue range of built-in cooking appliances.

Headliner Chef, Simon Rimmer, Host of C4’s Sunday Brunch, commented: “Foodies Festival has really made its name as the UK’s best food and drink festival and I’m very excited to be joining this year’s line-up of exceptionally talented chefs in what’s set to be the best summer series of festivals yet.”

Simon will be among a galaxy of stars appearing at Foodies Festival 2019. Among them will be MasterChef winner Kenny Tutt, Celebrity MasterChef winner John Partridge, Great British Menu winner Richard Bainbridge as well as an array of Great British Bake-Off champions and top chefs drawn from each local area.

For the second year running, the festival will host Musicians Against Homelessness (MAH) with a mix of headline acts such as Scouting for Girls and Boyzlife and talented emerging bands performing on a live music stage.

The 2019 Foodies Festival will dish up more than 200 exhibitors and award-winning artisan producers as well as a Street Food Village, Cakes and Desserts Theatre, Kids Cookery School, Healthy Living Area, Chef’s Theatre, Vegan Beer Tent and Food and Drink masterclasses.
