How are you doing? So this is my second post in as many days. I just had to jump online because I had a reminder in my diary that the deadline for nominations for the Derby Food & Drink Awards is less than 2 weeks away. And we all know that time will whizz by oh so quick, and blink before you know it, the 17th August will have come and gone.
I’d hate to miss out on voting for my favourite restaurants (and I know you would too), so consider this my public service. Do you have a favourite eatery in Derby? Which place floats your boat? Get your nominations in by 5pm on Monday 17th August. It’s the quality, not quantity of the nomination, so show your fave eatery some TLC and wax lyrical about why you like their food.
I’ll be spending the next week reviewing my shortlist and submitting my nominations on 16th August. Why so close to the deadline, you ask? Well, there are still a few restaurants I haven’t checked out yet, so I’ll be popping in over the course of the next week to see if these eateries deserve a place on my nomination list. 🙂
