GREY GOOSE GETAWAY, BANK HOLIDAY EVENT @ AUSTRALASIA, MANCHESTER (27-30 APRIL 2017)

With a bank holiday peeking around the corner, news of this fabulous event is making me smile. If you like Grey Goose, which also happens to be one of my favourite tipples of choice (it’s so deliciously smooth), then get down stat to Australasia.

Australasia, a bar and dining destination like no other in Manchester, will transform its Terrace into a Grey Goose getaway, as it launches its summer takeover sessions in collaboration with the world’s best tasting vodka.

Launching tomorrow just in time for the bank holiday weekend, Australasia Terrace will be adorned with Grey Goose French Riviera-esque blue and white striped blankets, cushions, fruit trees, themed-ornate-decorations and customised iconic flying-geese cocktail accessories, glassware and ice buckets.  There will also be live music and entertainment during the evening events.

Fly beyond the typical cocktail, and discover Grey Goose’s signature serve, Le Grand Fizz, the cocktail of the summer.  Served by Australasia Terrace’s mixologist, it’s the perfect tonic to escape the city.

To get in the mood, why not make a cocktail at home before heading out? Here’s the recipe:

How to make Le Grand Fizz:

  • In an oversized wine glass, combine 35ml Grey Goose vodka with 15ml St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  • Squeeze two fresh lime wedges over ice and top with 60ml soda water
  • Garnish with three fresh lime wedges and serve with a smile

Le Grand Fizz-sippers can twist their tipple at the Build Your Own Le Grand Fizz Station – choose between Grey Goose Original or Grey Goose flavours; La Poire, L’Orange, or Le Citron, and twist with fresh ingredients, and garnishes.

There will also be masterclass sessions and a Sorbet Cart offering refreshing sorbets, infused with Grey Goose.  Australasia Terrace will also be offering the chance to win a Grey Goose Hamper worth £370, with every purchase of Le Grand Fizz, during the Terrace takeover events.

Australasia Terrace’s Grey Goose takeovers will kick off on Thursday 27th April and Sunday 30th April 2017 – book now and receive a complimentary Le Grand Fizz on arrival.

This event is also confirmed for Sunday 28 May. Guests can combine their Grey Goose discoveries with a selection of sushi plates; choose from oysters, sashimi, nigiri and Californian rolls, or combine these with a mixed selection.

I cannot think of a better marriage than Australasia, Grey Goose and sushi.
