Hello All, How are you? With my brand spanking new website hot off the press literally a few hours ago, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to my first post of the year. Sorry I’ve been away for so long, I hope 2015 is treating you well. Is it too late to ask about your festive break? No, I don’t think it is! The chilly temperatures outside qualify me to say that I hope Santa was kind (and got you tonnes of presents) and that you had a wonderful Christmas and restful vacation.

Did you make any New Year’s Resolutions? I made a whole bunch and so far (plasters self to wood), have kept them all. I joined the gym, got a gruelling (but thoroughly fabulous) personal trainer who kicks me into shape, I work out twice a week, I write every day (Book 2 of the Screaming Snowflakes Saga slated for release at the end of the year), I joined a book club, I’m organising a Book-Cake Club (more on that later) and will be reviewing restaurants and cafés in Derby and Nottingham and LiveTweeting from fantastic eateries. You can read more about that here, but just a short note to say that I’m very excited about my foodie adventure and I do hope you’ll join me for the ride.

I totally dig discovering good food and love letting you fine folk know which restaurants are rocking even more. If you’re a restaurant or café and don’t know your hashtag from your retweet, get in touch, I’d love to hear from you. I’ll be adding more foodie reviews in the coming days, so do keep your eyes peeled.

Enough about me, how about you? What does 2015 hold for you? Any wacky resolutions that would make your mum blanche with disappointment? I’d love to know (I’m an inquisitive soul). I love my new website so much, even better than Hotel Chocolat’s Billionaire Slab (and that’s some serious amount of TLC). Here, I’ll be writing about my books (Screaming Snowflakes and Collateral Damage), foodie reviews, latest news from the food industry, scrumptious recipes, cool fashion tips and a whole lot more.

See you soon, RA x
