The terrace bar at Australasia has relaunched as ‘Sunset by Australasia’ a brand-new haven in the heart of Spinningfields.
Designed by award-winning interior designer Michelle Derbyshire, ‘Sunset by Australasia’ will offer a pleasure-seekers’ hideaway, with a décor that oozes Miami-cool and laid-back Ibizan vibes, located right in the heart of the city.
Retaining the reputation for the best sushi and seafood, the Sunset menu takes inspiration from Australian cuisine and Pacific Rim flavours.
Tempting new additions include ‘shabu shabu’ broth-style dishes served in hot granite bowls, delicious Japanese ‘kakigori’ desserts made using ancient methods with fresh fruits and shaved ice, as well as exotic afternoon teas and bento boxes.
Cocktail lovers can look forward to indulging in Sunset Sangria’s or Pina Colada concoctions from the ‘Sunset Signatures’ selection or order up Frozen Pornstar Martinis, all served to the soundtrack of the resident Sunset house DJ.
The Sunset bar is all about basking in that golden glow for an evening of indulgence, and I cannot wait to visit (I have my eye on those highly Instagram-able desserts).
