Hello, how are we doing today? I was up at the crack of dawn, my body clock being used to arising at 6:30am during the week. Still, that meant I got a head-start on my weekend blogging and social media. What have you been up to?

I’ve spent the best part of the day on Google+. Now the world and his wife bangs on about Google+. Everyone seems to think that Google+ is THE social networking platform to focus on. I’ve had a profile on there for months, I signed up because well, it was new at the time and I was oddly intrigued by it.

To be honest, I didn’t really know much about it. But I’m learning. The platform doesn’t appear to be very user-friendly. In fact up until this morning, I thought it to be a waste of time. After Googling a whole bunch of “How To” tutorials, the fog of befuddlement is starting to dissipate. Posting on Google+ is a great way to shoot up those Google rankings (in time, my friend) and one needs to start curating (and writing) cool content.

Whilst researching Google+, I came across Scott Buehler, a Google+ guru. This guy really knows what he’s talking about and I urge you to go check out his website here. He demystifies Google+ in simplistic language that any technophobe can understand. (Thank you Scott for the tips and tricks on Google+, you’re making my life a lot easier.)

It’s easy to put your message across and not interact with any other users. That’s what I’ve been guilty of in the past. (My bad, I know.) So, today I actually spent time commenting on different threads, liking posts, sharing videos. You know, everything what a good social media bod is supposed to be doing on a daily basis. We’ll see if this has any impact on my stats. I’ll be studying my analytics next week and will update you as soon as I find out. You know, just in case your life revolves around me (I wish) and knowledge of my metrics is a matter of life and death for you.

Do you use Google+? How are you finding it? I’d love to know.
See you soon,
RAxx
